AGM & Laying Up Supper 2009

Posted in General News - December 30 2009

The AGM for SHSC was held on 29th December last. It was very well attended with active participation from all. It was particularly good to see everyone considering the poor weather conditions, especially those members travelling from Dublin. Of key note, were the adoption of the new constitution, the appointment of a handicap committee and the decision to hold the laying up supper on New Years Eve in future years. The Laying Up Supper followed the AGM and was, as usual, a very enjoyable night, held in the Harbour View Hotel. The overall racing trophies for the season were presented, with Noel Coleman on Coleplay winning the White Sail fleet, Morgan O’Donovan on Loco taking honours in the Cruiser Class (Echo) and Paul Murray on Full Pelt taking the inaugural Cruiser Class (IRC) trophy. Thanks to all for their attendance and making it such a success. A special note of thanks also to the committee for working hard all year.
