Quarter ton class and J Class

ln 1960 the quarter ton class joined up with the J class sailing out of RCYC and around Cork Harbour Clubs and West along.... that was 40 years ago this year… so before we are all interred in the deep ocean I thought it would be prudent to organize a night of memories and fun to remember those very happy days when we had lovely long sunny summers, with gentle breezes pushing our little gems around the buoys in the harbour and heading back to the various clubs for the prize givings which usually went on all night!!!... so

With that in mind, I would like to inform your members and in particular those who sailed in the quarter ton/j class to pencil SATURDAY 27TH MARCH 2010 into their diary for a night to reminisce and dance again, hopefully with the Sixtease Band…

I would appreciate anyone interested in coming along to email me of their intentions and I will have prices, times and menu’s sorted in the first week in March when you will get a ‘formal’ poster for the Club.
